The artist Thiagocorream’s hilarious motto “depressed but well dressed” is a perfect encapsulation of his unique style. Thiagocorream’s designs can often touch on darker themes like the occult; nevertheless, his artwork maintains a sense of humor and is filled with graphics that range from pizza-loving demons to unicorn anatomy lessons. His style represents both the dark and the light.

Thiagocorream shares that he loves to listen to history podcasts while he works; he appreciates losing himself in the history of a place and a time. In fact, he visited Florence, Italy several years ago and admits, “if I could choose anywhere in the world to live” it would be Florence because of its colorful history, vibrant art, and breathtaking architecture. Nonetheless, although he loves classic artists like Sandro Botticelli, Hieronymus Bosch, and Alexandre Cabanel, he is still most drawn to the style of the 1980s with its distinctive music, films, and pop culture.

He believes that creativity is being able to find a happy medium between “imagination and sensibility.” Although he usually knows what direction his art will take, he confesses that it “doesn't always end the way I imagined it” but he has learned to be okay with the unexpected twists and turns in life and in art.
