Tips for Creating All Over Designs
When it comes to designing artwork for an all over product it’s important to keep a few things in mind. The first thing to consider is the term “cut and sew” which means that the design is printed on raw fabric, then each section is cut to size and sewn together to complete the finished garment. This process produces the highest handcrafted quality with 100% coverage. It’s also important to remember that your art must be BIG! To achieve the best quality print your artwork should be 26in x 36in at 150 dpi to fit the largest size tees.
Patterns and abstract designs work great for all overs; however, when artwork is created to align across seams, problems can occur. Because of this, it’s generally expected that designs won’t line up perfectly across any stitched area.
The collar can also be customized, it’s recommended that you choose a solid color that compliments the design and avoid artwork or patterns.
