Featured Artist: Pa3ck
Pa3ck’s art is an eclectic mix and he jokes that if it had a taste it would be like “chili sauce, pizza, sweet candy, bit of taco, marshmallow, and snicker bar all put together in one bowl.” Nonetheless, his diverse style has a tangible and almost gritty feel and — whether it is a flying pyramid or an adorable avocado cat — audiences will recognize his unique look.
Pa3ck is from the city of Košice in Slovakia and he considers his home a “paradise for your senses, spirit, and creativity.” Although he’d love to travel to places like Switzerland, he also admits that his home will always have an irresistible draw for him.
As a student, he must navigate between his schooling and his art. However, he believes that he is able to “perfectly balance” the two. However, knowing when a piece is “complete” can be the most challenging aspect for him. He often has to take a break and reach out to a friend to ask their opinion.
Patrick works to keep up with the trends in art and culture so that he can “engage with a wide range of customers.” He also hopes to “predict” what people will like in the future and uses it as a catalyst in his artwork. He loves when someone chooses to purchase his art — whether it’s a sticker or 20 sweatshirts — because he knows that his art made them happy.
Pa3ck struggles with patience as well as agonizing over what others might think of his work. He’s learned to “keep going” and to try not to focus on anything other than his ultimate goal because “perseverance is the key part of every success.”
